CityFixr respects your privacy. CityFixr (“CityFixr” or the “Company”) offer mapping, GPS navigation, and community-based services to users of www.cityfixr.com (the “Website”) and/or users of CityFixr’s mobile application (the “Application”) (collectively referred to as the “Services”). When you use our Services, you are trusting us with your information. We understand this is a big responsibility and work hard to protect your information and put you in control.

This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can update, manage, and delete your information.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

CityFixr collects a variety of information that you provide directly to us. We process your information when necessary to provide you with the Services that you have requested, or where we have obtained your prior consent, or where we have a legitimate interest to do so. For example, we may process your information for security, testing, maintenance and enhancement of the Services, or for analytics, research and reporting purposes. Without your information, we cannot provide you with the Services you have requested or you may be limited in your use of the Services. CityFixr may collect the following personally identifiable information:

  • Phone Number 
  • Username
  • Password
  • Location 

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. You may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use the Services or Application such as registering for an account or sending us an email message. For example, we will use your information for reasons such as, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to Services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.

Location services are required only to find your locations on the map and store the issues you report.  We do not track your location for any other purposes.

USE OF INFORMATION

CityFixr collects and uses the information to operate and deliver Services. We also use the information we collect to:

  • Create and maintain your CityFixr account;
  • Send you technical notices, security alerts, and support and administrative messages;
  • Respond to your comments and questions and provide customer service;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents and other malicious, deceptive, fraudulent or illegal activity and protect the rights and property of CityFixr and others;
  • Debug to identify and repair errors in our Services;
  • Comply with our legal and financial obligations; and
  • Carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected.

STORING INFORMATION

We use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect data under our control. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet or data storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you feel that the security of any data that we hold about you has been compromised, please immediately notify us of the problem by contacting us in accordance with the “Contact Us” section below.

ADVERTIZEMENTS

We use a third party for in-app advertising to monetize the app to allow us to offer the app for free.  A user may purchase a yearly agreement to remove these advertisements at any time.

LOG DATA

Whenever you use our Services, CityFixr collects information that your browser sends to us (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser version, pages of our Services that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.

COOKIES

Cookies are files with small amounts of data that are commonly used as an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your computer’s hard drive.

Our Website uses these “cookies” to collection information and to improve our Services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your computer. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Services.

SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION

At no time should you submit sensitive personal information to CityFixr. This includes your social security number, information regarding race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health information, criminal background or trade union memberships. If you elect to submit such information to us, it will be subject to this Privacy Policy.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

CityFixr does not solicit or knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16 (or a minor in the jurisdiction in which you are accessing our Services). If you are under the age of 16 (or a minor in the jurisdiction in which you are accessing our Services), do not use the Services, or make purchases via the Services, use any interactive features of the Services, or post any personal information to our Website or Application or submit any personal information via the Services. If CityFixr obtains actual knowledge that it has collected personal information from a child under the age of 16, CityFixr will immediately delete that information from its database.  If you believe that we might have any information from a child under age 16 in the applicable jurisdiction, please contact us info@cityfixr.com. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected the personal information of a child under 16, or equivalent minimum age depending on jurisdiction, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible and cease the use of that information in accordance with applicable law.

Information we collect about you from third parties

Our Services may also, from time to time, contain links to and from social media platforms. If you choose to connect with us through a social media platform, we may, through the social media platform connection, collect additional information from you, such as your username and email address. Similarly, the social media platforms may collect information about your interaction with our Services. We do not have any control of the collection, use and sharing of your information when using any social media platforms. You should read any associated privacy policies before using them.

Information we collect from other sources, e.g.: information from third party providers, information that helps us to combat fraud or that relates to your social interactions (including your communications via social media, between individuals, organizations, prospects and other stakeholders acquired from companies that collect combined information);

We may combine the information we collect about you from the various sources described above.

SHARING INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES

CityFixr does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

CityFixr may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail or provide customer support. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to CityFixr, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

CityFixr may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on CityFixr or the Website; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of CityFixr; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of CityFixr, or the public.

Each time you access the Services, the then-current version of this Privacy Policy will apply. Each time you use the Services, we recommend that you check the date of this Privacy Policy (Effective Date) and review any changes since the last time you used the Services.
